Ventura County Leaders Involved in the AFA
Over 100 leaders in Ventura County have been, or are currently, active members of the AFA, serving on the Roundtable and/or one of its four active committees. Committees are formed to draft Community Issue Papers that define the AFA consensus on a policy issue and then to creatively and consistently advocate for implementation of the changes recommended.
Below are lists of participants past and present. You will note that many past Roundtable members are still active in committees. These lists do not include the dozens of additional volunteers that are participating in city-based farm worker housing advocacy committees who show up at planning commission and council meetings to testify in support of farm worker housing construction projects.
