Yolo County Loses Sustainable Ag Pioneer
Charlie Rominger, a founding member of the Yolo Ag Futures Alliance, and a leader in the efforts to preserve Yolo county ag land and environment, passed away from cancer in October, 2006.
As a founder of the Yolo AFA, Charlie provided the quiet leadership necessary to building bridges in the community. He was a strong supporter of Urban Growth Limits and all forms of ag land preservation and much of the Yolo AFA’s focus on land use traces back to his inspiration.
